SSA equips all of its security officers with two-way, hands
free communication radios, the standard SSA uniform,
rechargeable flashlights, wet weather protection, and a
security baton and handcuffs. The latter is either worn or
stored in the security office at the client’s discretion.
SSA’s security guarding contracts may also include the
installation of Guard I, a security management supervision
tool. Security Officers are required to conduct patrols
going to specified points marked with Guard I buttons that
we supply. |

At each point the Security Officer uses a specially designed
wand and makes connection with the Guard I point. At the end
of the patrol the wand is connected to our CPU and the
patrol information is downloaded into a report which details
the route, checkpoints, and times of each patrol. This is an
invaluable management tool to ensure our Security Officers
perform their responsibilities to standard.
Depending on the client’s requirements, SSA can supply
hand-held metal detectors and vehicle search mirrors.
