A well
trained, courteous, uniformed security officer is not only a
crime deterrent and a first responder, but also a public
relations asset. In business, guests and customers encounter
a security officer usually more often than the client’s own
staff. We realize our security officers represent the client
and its corporate headquarters. Therefore selecting the
appropriate security company is as important as selecting a
good Guest Relations Officer. [In fact on our clients’ guest
surveys, guests often rate our security officers
professionalism and performance higher than that of the
client’s own staff. Similarly when our clients undergo
corporate inspections, our security routinely rates higher
that other out-sourced services as well as the client’s own
departments.]
All of SSA’s security officers are required to undergo
successful medical screening and are checked against police
criminal data bases at both the local and national level to
ensure they have no criminal records.
The majority of SSA’s Security Officers come to SSA with
several years of successful experience in the security work
force. SSA is able to select and retain these quality
personnel because the company complies with and often
exceeds all Thai labor law requirements and:
-
Allows
each Security Officer one full day off every week
-
Remunerates Security Officers and Supervisors higher
than the labor requirements in each geographical area
for a 12-hour day
-
Provides
Extra Pay for all Overtime and Public Holidays
-
Does not
require the Security Officer to rent their personal
security equipment
-
Ensures
all Security Officers and Staff are registered with
Social Security and receive adequate medical coverage
-
Trains
Security Officers on their Responsibilities
-
Conducts
regular appraisals of its security officers,
supervisors, and operations, to maintain a consistent
high level of performance
SSA realizes
its reputation rests with its guard force and holds all of
its guards to a high performance standard. Any reports of
poor or sub-standard performance are dealt with swiftly by
removing the security officer from the client for either
re-training or termination. |
